Amazing world's tallest tower building in Burj Dubai

tallest-tower -building

The tower is so enormous that the air temperature at the top is up to 8 degrees Celsius (14 degrees Fahrenheit) lower than at the base. If anyone ever hit upon the idea of opening a door at the top and a door at the bottom, as well as the airlocks in between, a storm would rush through the air-conditioned building that would destroy most everything in its wake, except perhaps the heavy marble tiles in the luxury apartments. The phenomenon is called the “chimney effect.“

What can you do at Burj Dubai? Level 108 is the top floor of residential apartments. For work, you can go to the offices upstairs – anywhere up to the 160th floor. To eat, you can visit the restaurant on the 122nd and to exercise, you can use the gym on the 123rd, about 440 metres up. The gym has both an indoor and, unnervingly, an outdoor swimming pool.

The Weisman Museum at the University of Minnesota

Frank Gehry designed the Weisman Museum at the University of Minnesota in Twin Cities Minnesota. The typically metal building strategically places windows which overlook the Mississippi river and downtown Minneapolis. It was completed in 1993.The broken up stainless steel facades seem to draw inspiration from the rocky banks of the river. The metal meets terra cotta colored brick on the city side to echo the history of the city. This interpretation of the natural and built environment is appropriate for the modern art inside.

Amazing buildings Antwerp Law Courts and Barbican Centre

Richard Rogers and Van Kerc Khove B.V.B.A., Ove Arup & Partners and landscape designer Wirtz International designed the new courthouse justitiepaleis for Antwerp, completed in 2006.
The soaring spires in this £86m project are pointed with a east-west orientation to catch natural sunlight. They provide an aesthetic reminiscent of sails on ships. Other environmental features include natural ventilation and water recycling. After becoming roiled in scandal, the legal system tried to make a statement of honesty and transparency from this open design. The six wings spread from a central spine like the legs on a spider. The roadway runs underground directly below this spine.

John Honer, Theo Crosby, John Honer and other various architects designed the Brutalist Barbican Centre, which opened north of the City of London, England.
The complex includes music halls for the London Symphony Orchestra and other groups, exhibition halls, restaurants, movie theatres, and residential. The concrete ziggurat design with lavish green gardens has been called ugly. It is. But it is an evolving complex that looks better with each new layer.

Pre-school institution in China

State of the Art Pre-school design based on the latest international models and standards for early childhood care. Pods like flower pods spreading their seeds to the winds, fanned to optimize access to southern light and heat. The concrete structure is also designed to redirect cold winds aways from outside playgrounds. Pods are clad with "Green" resin fiberboard instead of wood, minmizing maintenance and weathering.
Overall, concept was to create a fluid and spiritual environment distant from the more mechanistic, rigid and prosaic late-modern designs that have come before it. We want to allow the architecture to invigorate a child’s sense of wonder and generate unique memories without resorting to theatrical stage design or applied nostalgic detailing.
