Aquilano Rimondi Fashion For Women
Meet the next generation of Milanese ready-to-wear stars— Tomniaso Aquilano and Roberto
Rimondi.

PICASSO, JAPANESE MASKS, VENETIAN HAR FASHION FOR WOMEN- lequinsand Vellmis La Stratta—the mad mash-up of references in Aquilano. Rimondi's Spring Fashion collection 2013 tells a dizzvingly decadent tale, one that revolves around the label's two central characters— Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi. Since 199K when the duo first met at Max Mara, they have been rising up the fashion ranks together. In 2004 they founded 6267, and by 2008, following a stint at luxury knitwear label Malo, they became creative directors at Gianfranco Ferre. That same year they launched Aquilano Rimondi. Known for their strong architectural shapes and incredible attention to detail, these Italian designers embrace maximalism with such a natural ease that one assumes "dazzle" is part of their DNA. Flying solo at their Spring 2013 runk show a t Holt  Renfrew's Toronto flagship store in December. Aquilano shared some good-natured ribbing about his other half while discussing the art of contemporary design fashion for women.

Taylor Swift

Taylor's revenge romance

Taylor Swift will tour with musician Ed for six months, starting in March.

ON THE REBOUND, TAYLOR SWIFT IS MOVING ON WITH ANOTHER MUSICIAN-AND HE'S A NICE GUY!

Still reeling from the sudden end of her romance with One Direction singer Harry Styles, Taylor Swift is setting her sights on another English singer — pop star Ed Sheeran. The pair, who have become close pals in recent months, are about to go on tour together — and Taylor Swift giggles when she tells friends she thinks their relationship might well go to the next level.

"Taylor Swift has a real crush on Ed. She adores him," says an insider. "She's been textingand
calling him a lot and is very excited about spending lots of time with him. She needs to have a man in her life. He's very sweet, funny and loyal."

Last year, the pair collaborated on Taylor Swift's hit single "Everything has Changed" and Ed, 21, even had the name of the country singer's album Red tattooed on his left bicep.

Before Taylor Swift, 23, hooked up with Harry, rumors of a growing romance with Ed were
developing — but they fizzled out when Taylor was suddenly swept off her feet by the hard-partying Harry. "Ironically, Ed and Harry are good buddies," says Ed's pal. "He was crushed
when Taylor Swift fell for Harry, but now it looks like the shoe could be on the other foot. And
if Taylor and Ed do become an item, it will be the perfect revenge on Harry for Taylor. "Ed's a keeper," says the source. "This could be the long-lasting relationship that Taylor Swift is looking for."

KIMBERLEY WALSH

TAKING CENTRE STAGE AGAIN AFTER 'STRICTLY
KIMBERLEY WALSH
ON SPENDING TIME WITH HER MAN AND
HAVING FUN WITH THE GIRLS

Kimberley Walsh is looking pretty amazing for a woman who has been rushed off her feet. She came joint second in the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing and is hard at work rehearsing for
the hotly anticipated Girls Aloud reunion tour. And if thaT isn't enough excitement for the singer, she has also managed to find time to work on her debut solo album, Centre Stage.

"It has been mad, I'm not going to pretend," Kimberley Walsh laughs when we catch up with her for an exclusive chat in a central London hotel. Kimberley Walsh flawless complexion is tanned and glowing following a recent holiday in Barbados, where she was able to recharge her batteries alter an action-packed end to 2012. "I was so lazy out there," Kimberley Walsh says. "My family were saying, 'No, stay there, we'll get you what you need.' They didn't want me to do anything, they
were just trying to feed me up."

Kimberley Walsh has been looking pretty svelte of late. Unsurprisingly, the gruelling dancing schedule that comes hand in hand with Strictly has had an effect on the curvy singer's figure-and Kimberley Walsh looked more toned than ever in snaps from her holiday.

"I don't know about that," Kimberley Walsh says modestly. "[Toning up] really is a benefit of Strictly. Also, those pictures were" taken near the beginning of the holiday. 1 hadn't eaten too much rice and peas at that point!"

While in the Caribbean, Kimberley Walsh didn't just take the opportunity to show off her newly honed bikini body. The 31-year-old Kimberley Walsh says it was a real treat to spend quality time with her boyfriend of nine years, Justin Scott.

"Justin knows that with things like this, they're really intense for a short time then he gets me
back. So it's fine," she says. "He was the only person I did see, really. Even though I was working
stupid hours, at least I came back to him at night. My friends and family popped down to rehearsals
now and again but that was all. You feel bad because you're aware you're indulging yourself
and are unable to be around for everyone. But they enjoyed it and were all really supportive.''

SPECTACULAR

However, with the Girls Aloud tour looming large - the band kick off their nationwide extravaganza
in Newcastle on 21 February - there's more hard work ahead for Kimberley Walsh. "It sounds really big-headed but this tour is going to be amazing," says the singer, Kimberley Walsh,  lighting up when she talks about being reunited with Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle. "We had a big meeting the other night and since then I've been beside myself with excitement because we've seen the final sketches of the stage and our outfits. It's going to be quite a spectacle."

Kimberley Walsh claps her hands in excitement. "And it feels so easy! You get used to having the pressure on your own, so when you're back with everyone you're like, 'God, this is a breeze.' I only have to do a few lines here and there and just enjoy it."

Kimberley insists that failing to take the Strictly glitterball trophy before Christmas doesn't bother
her. Kimberley Walsh and her dance partner Pasha Kovalev were joint runners-up with Denise Van Omen and James Jordan, behind gymnast Louis Smith and Flavia Cacace.

"I thought I would he disappointed not to win because it was so close. And on the night, we could
feel it. But it was weird - I kind of fell all right alxmi it. I thought I'd gel more competitive as the
weeks went on but I was competitive with myself lather than with the- others."

The experience was made extra special for Kimberley because she shared it with Denise, 38, with whom she became firm friends when they climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief in 2009. "Denise and I went through the whole [Strictly] thing together. We were constantly on die phone saying, 'Are you all right? How are your injuries?' So it was fitting that we started together and finished together. Neither of us felt we deserved to win over each other, so it was nice to be even Stevens. The one thing we didn't want was to dance off against each other. It would have
been horrific. We were so happy that we got to the end without having to do that.

"Obviously, we have now gone through two massively challenging experiences together -
Kilimanjaro and Strictly, They're probably the two hardest things I've ever done. We've definitely got a bond for life there."

So is Kimberley Walsh missing the show?

"Like a psycho," Kimberley Walsh says. "Towards the end, although I was still loving it, I was having to heave myself up off the couch. I was like. 'I'm dead!' but it's kind of addictive."

AWARDS SEASON THE GOLDEN GLOBES

HOT BRITS, HEARTFELT SPEECHES
AND HEAD-TURNING GOWNS
AT THE FIRST BIG BASH OF AWARDS SEASON
THE GOLDEN GLOBES

GOLDEN GLOBES Showstoppers: Anne Hathaway, who won the Best Supporting Actress title tor her role in Les Miserables, is chic in Chanel as she walks the red carpet with husband Adam Shulman; Damian Lewis (above, with wife Helen McCrory at the Weinstein Chopard after-party), led the British charge with Best Actor in a TV Drama for Homeland; and Orlando Bloom can't take his eyes off his leading lady Miranda Kerr, in a red carpet-grazing Zuhair Murad number and Ferragamo accessories. Beautiful golden globe dresses.

THE GOLDEN GLOBES Winners' circle (clockwise, from left): Adele, with her award for
Original Song; Best Actress Claire Danes and Best Actor Damian Lewis with their Homeland co-star Morena Baccarin; Jessica Chastain, in Calvin Klein with Harry Winston jewels, with her Best
Actress award for Zero Dark Thirty; Best Actor Daniel Day-Lewis, Lincoln's only big winner of the night; and Bill Clinton, whose appearance to introduce the film earlier was greeted by a standing
ovation. "Are you sure there's room for another ex-President on the stage?" Daniel said as he launched into his acceptance speech.

It was a night of fun and surprises at the Golden Globes. While the Golden Globes event was as dazzling as ever, with the Hollywood glitterati turning out in all their finery, the Golden Globes awards almost pulled the red carpet from beneath their feet, with unexpected triumphs and revelations. Thriller Argo beat favorite Lincoln to the Best Picture award, former US President Bill Clinton made an unheralded but warmly received appearance and Jodie Foster gave a ground-breaking speech.

Something to sing about: Hugh Jackman with his Best Actor in a Golden Globes Musical award for
Les Miserables (above). "I thought I'd bitten off more than I could chew with this film," he said. Lifetime Achievement Globe recipient Jodie Foster had many in tears with a speech in which she
talked for the first time about her private life, including sons Charles, 14, and Kit, 12: "My reason to breathe... Boys, in case you didn't know it, all of this is for you"

THE GOLDEN GLOBES Red-hot couples (clockwise from left): Hugh Jackman, in Louis
Vuitton tux and Harry Winston cufflinks, with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness; Jason Statham with
girlfriend Rosie Huntington- Whiteley, in Saint Laurent gown, belt and shoes; and Harry Potter
star Helena Bonham Carter, in Dolce & Gabbana and carrying a Lulu Guinness clutch, with her
long-term partner, director Tim Burton - who joked away his sling, saying: "I arm-wrestled
Helena, and lost"

British musical drama Les  Miserable triumphed, winning three of the four awards it was nominated for, and tliere was more good news for British talent, with Daniel Day-Lewis winning Best Actor, Dame Maggie Smith taking Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series for her role as the Dowager Countess of Grantham in Downton Abbey, Damian Lewis winning the Golden Globes Best Actor in a TV Series and Adele taking Best Original Song for the Bond theme song Skyfall.

THE GOLDEN GLOBES. A VERY BRITISH COUP

Making her first public appearance since giving birth in October, Adele dedicated the award to her
"lovely" son. "Honestly, I came out for a night out with my friend Ayda (Robbie Williams's wife). We're new mums," she told the starry audience. "Thanks so much for letting me be partof your world for a night."
Damian, star of TV drama Homeland, who was accompanied by his wife, British actress Helen
McCrory, dedicated his award to his late mother. She was. he said: "Looking down on me, bursting
with pride, telling everyone around her how well her son is doing in acting."

Best Director Ben Affleck with wife Jennifer Garner, in scarlet Vivienne Westwood gown and David Webb jewellery.  In his victory speech the Argo director paid tribute to his actress spouse. The film - also named Best Picture -  was produced by George Clooney (with Stacy Keibler, in Armani Prive)
Double Oscar-winner Daniel is now a double Golden Globe-winner. His award, for his portrayal of Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's American Civil War epic Lincoln, was the only reward for the film, despite its seven nominations. "If I had this on a timeshare basis with my wonderful, gifted
colleagues, I might just hope to keep it for one day of the year, and I'd be happy with that," he said. Earlier, his film had been introduced by Bill Clinton, whose surprise appearance on stage was welcomed with a standing ovation.

"Wow, what an exciting special guest! That was Hillary Clinton's husband!" joked Amy Poehler to her co-host Tina Fey as the ex-President left. The two comediennes proved popular with the
audience following the acerbic wit of Ricky Gervais's presenting stints in previous years.

Naomi Watts (above) may have lost out in the Best Film Actress category for The Impossible, but she triumphs in the style stakes, defying the unseasonal l_A chill in her long-sleeved, oxblood Zac Posen gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewels, with a Ferragamo clutch - not to mention husband Liev Schreiber (together, top left) - on her arm. Twice-nominated Nicole Kidman, meanwhile, received "two thumbs up" from her husband Keith Urban (together, opposite top) for her McQueen gown

THE GOLDEN GLOBES GOLDEN BOY

The night's talking point, though, was Argo, the dramatisation of a real-life mission to rescue six
US diplomats from revolutionary Iran in 1980. It not only look Best Picture, but also Best Director
for Ben Affleck - a surprise to many, given that the Good Will Hunting star hasn't even been
nominated for an Oscar.

Taking to the stage, the actor and director thanked his wife Jennifer Garner for her support.
"She is the reason why I'm standing here," he said. "I adore von. I love von so much. Thanks
for sitting through this. You are my everything."

It was the second time that week that Ben had won a best director prize and. although it is
perhaps surprising that he has not been nominated for an Academy Award, his Golden Globe triumph has no doubt improved the odds of Argo taking the Best Picture Oscar.

Golden girls: Taking the name of the awards literally are Best Actress nominee Emily Blunt in Michael Kors; Kate Hudson in gilt-edged Alexander McQueen with Roger Vivier clutch; and Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery in an Alexandre Vauthier Coutur white crepe gown with a gold bodice
There was, of course, the obligatory hotly anticipated line-up of glamorous gowns on the red carpet and Hollywood's leading ladies and men definitely dressed to impress. But as well as the elegance, the ceremony included some genuine emotion, which at times reduced the glamorous guests to tears.

The most poignant point of the evening came when Jodie Foster accepted the Cecil B DeMille
Lifetime Achievement award, holding the audience spellbound as she addressed her professional and private life — including her sexuality - for the first time in such a public forum. The 50-year-old, who began her career at the age of three and became an international star at 13 when she starred in Taxi Driver and Hugsy MaUrne, first drew the audience in with a joke. "I have a sudden urge to say something I've never really been able to air in public," she said with a smile. "It's a declaration I'm a little nervous about, but maybe not quite as nervous as my publicist right now. I'm just going to put it out there, loud and proud." She paused for dramatic effect before adding: "I am single," to whoops from the audience, including close friend Mel Gibson, who was sitting at her table with her two sons and former partner, Cydney Bernard.

Robert Pattinson and nominees Leonardo DiCaprio and Bradley Cooper; and Juliarme Moore,-
effortlessly elegant in a cowl-backed Tom Ford gown - the Best GOLDEN GLOBES TV Actress winner said she'd emailed her designer friend to ask him to make her dress
She paid effusive thanks to Anne Hathaway, who scooped THE GOLDEN GLOBES Best Supporting Actress for her role as the fragile Famine in Les Miserable.
"Thank you for this lovely blunt object that I will for ever more use as a weapon against self-doubt," said (lie actress, now holly lipped to win an Oscar. Her co-star Hugh Jackman won THE GOLDEN GLOBES Best Actor tor his pail as tragic Jean Valjean in the musical.

Jennifer Lawrence couldn't disguise her delight in winning the award for THE GOLDEN GLOBES Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her performance in Silver Linings Pfaybook. Looking at
her award, the 22-year-old actress, who shot to fame in The Hunger Games, joked: "What does this say? I beat Meryl!" referring to fellow nominee Meryl Streep.

Costume drama (from above): Eva Longoria make: a sweeping statement in a custom-designed Emili 66 Pucci gown and Martin Katz jewels; Satma Hayek dazzles in a Gucci Premiere strapless column dress embroidered with glass beads; Nicole Kidman in Alexandr McQueen gown with studded neckline and Fred Leighton jewels

Also toasting their success with the champagne provided for each table at the ceremony by Moet &
Chandon were Jessica Chastain, who won Best Actress for her lead role in Kalhryn Bigelow's tense
drama about the hunt for Osama bin Laden, Zero Dark Thirty, and Claire Danes, who won her fourth Golden Globe, for Best Actress in a TV Drama for her role as bipolar CIA agent Carrie
Ylathison in Homeland.

While the Golden Globes are usually considered a reliable gauge for the Oscars, this year's surprises mean that who walks away with a little golden man next month is anyone's guess.

SHAKIRA CELEBRATES THE IMMINENT ARRIVAL OF THEIR BABY

SHAKIRA CELEBRATES THE IMMINENT
ARRIVAL OF THEIR BABY

The pregnant pop star SHAKIRA exudes bliss, as does proud dad-to-be Gerard Pique, cradling her nude baby bump. To share their joy, the couple are hosting a "virtual baby shower" where SHAKIRA fans can donate gifts to needy babies online, via unicef

SHAKIRA wearing a bikini top and with her footballer boyfriend Gerard Pique lovingly cradling her bare baby bump, pregnant Hips Don't Lie singer Shakira puts the focus on a different sort of curves
in these intimate portraits celebrating the imminent birth of their first child.

And to further share their joy, Shakira, 35, and Gerard, 25, are hosting their own "virtual baby shower" in support of children's charity unicef.

Having our first baby is such an incredibly happy time for us," say the SHAKIRA. "That's why we want to invite you to our baby shower... with a twist."

Instead of regular presents, SHAKIRA  ask that fans honour their baby boy by buying Inspired
Gifts — such as food packets and vaccines - for needy infants via a special online UNICEF registry. "It would really mean a lot to us," Shakira and Gerard say.

Meanwhile, in the countdown to the big arrival, FC Barcelona star Gerard and Colombian-born Shakira seem particularly keen to fit in plenty of family time.

The happy Shakira  and Gerard got together with both sets of their parents in Barcelona last week to attend the launch of Al Viento Y At Azar (Carried on the Wind and Chance), a book written by Shakira's father William Mcbarak.

Gucci's Night Out

Fashion news

Gucci Museo in Florence

Fashion and film stars celebrate the launch of Florence's newest museum Gucci creative director Frida Giannini says that architecture is her "second passion"—the first being fashion, of course. Last September, these two enthusiasms were united with the opening of the Gucci Museo in Florence, the birthplace of the brand. The Gucci Museo in Florence is devoted to the company's 90-year history; Gucci's sumptuous leather goods and evening wear are displayed alongside work by such contemporary artists as Bill Viola. An inaugural bash brought stars of fashion, film, and music together for a night of dining and dancing.

Gucci's Night Out

The Gucci evening began with a tour of the three-story Gucci museum, which is housed in a 14th-century building in Florence. (The highlight of the collection might be the 1979 Cadillac Seville with a twin-G logo, which Gucci archivists discovered in Florida.) Actors Abbie Cornish, Max Irons, and Gemma Arterton, executives Francois-Henri Pinault and Lapo Elkann, journalist (and daughter of Princess Caroline) Charlotte Casiraghi, and other guests of Gucci night out were then ushered to a cocktail reception in the courtyard of the adjacent Palazzo Vecchio, which had been filled with blossoming olive trees.

After dinner, Giannini introduced a live performance by the group Blondie. "I used them for the soundtrack to one of my first campaigns, so the idea to invite them to play here came naturally," she says. "I always say that Gucci has a rock TV roll soul." Singer Deborah Harry slipped out of her Gucci heels and into sandals before delivering a set of the band's greatest hits.

For actress Camilla Belle, there was also an element of personal surprise. She learned that the midnight-blue Gucci Premiere gown she wore to the 2010 Cannes Film Festival is on display. "I can't believe that my outfit is included in the museum," she said. "I'm still pinching myself." Jim Shi

The longest snake in the world

longest-snake- 01

The official Communist Party newspaper in China is claimed the snake was one of two enormous boas found by workers clearing forest for a new road outside Guping city, Jiangxi province.

They apparently woke up the sleeping snakes during attempts to bulldoze a huge mound of earth.

longest-snake- 03

“On the third dig, the operator found there was blood amongst the soil, and with a further dig, a dying snake appeared,” said the post.

“At the same time, another gold colored giant boa appeared with its mouth wide open. The driver was paralyzed with fear, while the other workers ran for their lives.

longest-snake- 04

“By the time the workers came back, the wounded boa had died, while the other snake had disappeared. The bulldozer operator was so sick that he couldn’t even stand up.”

The post claimed that the digger driver was so traumatized that he suffered a heart attack on his way to hospital and later died.

longest-snake- 02

The dead snake was 55ft (16.7m) long, weighed 300kg and was estimated to be 140 years old, according to the post.
